If you simply wish to browse our website, no personal data is directly collected by us. A single cookie is used to check if you have accepted our cookie and privacy policies.

We will only collect: your first name, last name and email address.
We will never share your data with any third party unless required to do so by law.
We do not use your information for any other purpose than sending our newsletter.
You may opt out of our newsletter at any time using links in the email, or by contacting us direct.
When you submit information to us through the contact form it is sent directly to Topsham Wines. We will contact you using the details you submit through the form. Email is only accessed by Topsham Wines (see ‘Staff Access’ at bottom of page).
After responding to the email and resolving the enquiry, the email will be deleted. You are not added to any list or marketing campaign and your data is not retained.
Who can see this information
No personal details are kept on the website.
Only Topsham Wines has access to your information in Mailchimp (see ‘Staff Access’ at bottom of page).
Contact Form – Emails
As with Newsletters except that Digital Smithy, as host of our website, acts as a “data sub-processor”. This is a term used by the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations). This means that Digital Smithy provides our hosting, the space where our website and email are stored, and therefor has access to them. However, upon contracting Digital Smithy to host our website both parties signed an agreement where Digital Smithy will not access or act upon any data relating to Topsham Wines without our explicit consent. We have ensured that Digital Smithy abides by the GDPR and treats all customer information as strictly confidential.
How we keep your information secure
Our website uses encryption so that cookies and information entered on forms is secure. This is through an SSL certificate. You can see that our site is secure through your web browser, which will have a padlock or a green ‘SECURE’ message, and will show HTTPS at the beginning of our website address.
Admin account holders for our website must use strong passwords so that their accounts are secure.
Our Mailchimp account uses a strong password to keep it secure.
Your data is never stored by or shared with anyone except where detailed in ‘Who Can See This Information’ above.
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to our data protection officer Caroline Nicholson at email@example.com or contact us directly.
